SODE-24A AT MCTE MHOW - 1971-72
SODE stand for Signal Officer's Degree Engineering course which is conducted for 18 months at College of Military Engineering Pune and for the remaining 18 months at Military College of Telecommunication Engineering Mhow in Madhya Pradesh.
We attended this course at early stage of our service as Captains. Our course serial 24-A was terminated in Dec-1971 for us to join our units for the War with Pakistan. At the end of War we rejoined for the course to complete the same. The course terminated in August 1972 when we departed to various units on postings.
Three years was a long period, many bachelors lost their bachelor-hood during this period and became Papa's as well. We all thus created an everlasting special bond among ourselves.The electronic media and the advent of Internet further strengthened our mutual bondage. From normal Emails to start with we have this blog as also network on Whatsapp, Viber etc. This blog is our Reference Platform to browse to revive old memories.
Presently we all are retired and enjoying our retired ives in the company of grand children.
In Feb-2014 we all decided to have our reunion at MCTE Mhow from 9 to 11 Apr 2014.
